Built on the Arbitrum blockchain, PlutusDAO is a multichain DeFi yield platform and governance aggregator designed to optimize user rewards, maintain liquidity, and consolidate both governance power and protocol yield into the $xPLUTUS token. Operating as a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO), PlutusDAO empowers its community to make decisions on protocol-level matters through on-chain proposals and Snapshot voting.

PlutusDAO's unique value proposition lies in its plsASSETs, liquid, yield-bearing versions of xTokens and veTokens that allow users to earn rewards without needing to lock capital for long periods. The protocol has collaborated with several prominent DeFi projects, including Berachain, Camelot, Stryke (formerly Dopex), Radiant, GMX, Sperax, and Jones, to launch governance-aligned products offering enhanced yield and liquidity. This aggregation of governance power through the $xPLUTUS token enables stakers to steer protocol-level decisions across integrated partners.

As a DeFi yield platform, PlutusDAO offers multiple automated yield strategies, including plvHEDGE, plvLOOP, and plvDOLO, with additional vaults under active development. The protocol's focus on sustainability is evident in its commitment to real yield, as reflected in the implementation of a 1:0.8 soft floor on all plsASSETs to ensure long-term value retention across the ecosystem. This initiative, backed by treasury buybacks, has addressed one of old Plutus' core issues: unstable pegs and unreliable redemption value.

The transition to a community-led model in May 2024 marked a significant turning point for PlutusDAO, with the community assuming full control over treasury operations, development, and protocol direction. This shift has led to the establishment of transparent, decentralized treasury management, including weekly team reviews, quarterly reports, and annual performance summaries to keep the community informed and accountable.
